줄거리
탐정 필립(딕 파웰)은 경찰서 취조실에서 살인사건 용의자로 조사를 받으며 이야기를 들려주기 시작한다. 벨마를 찾아달라는 무스의 의뢰에 이어 매리엇의 의뢰에 응했던 필립은 약속 장소에서 뒤통수를 맞고 쓰러진다. 매리엇은 살해 당한다. 백만장자의 딸 앤(앤 셜리)이 접근하고 그녀의 새엄마 헬렌(클레어 트레버)마저 그를 유혹하기 시작하는데...
